Educating the Next Generation
Lexy Jones has always found joy in learning, but it wasn’t until they arrived at university that they realized just how much they enjoyed being enveloped in an academic environment.
She sees herself as creative and is always happiest working on projects. She wants to be a role model for women of color and will continue to use her skills to help others.

This is a passion project of mine that I have been working on only for a few short months. Since the time of creation three of my blog have been published on Align Magazine’s website, a school run fashion publication. They have now asked to me come on as a writer for this term as well. I am looking forward to creating more content.

Summer 2019
Worked with various products within the store to maintain merchandise, operate the cash registers, and respond to customer inquiries. Collaborated with a team and worked on various product launches. Did 5 and 15-minute makeovers, but upon request full faces of glam beauty makeup.
Womxn of Color Coalition Outreach Coordinator
Fall 2020
As a member of the WOCC or Womxn of Color Coalition executive board member, my responsibilities include, managing social media accounts, and creating posters and announcements for our meetings. I create digital flyers to create engagement on our socials and host weekly meetings via zoom giving womxn of color a safe space to vent their frustrations.

The University of has a fashion publication, that I have been a part of for two years. I have been not only writing, but I have gotten the opportunity to model for various shoots in my time working with them. I also did a charity makeup & beauty workshop to raise money for BLM nonprofit organizations.
